  1. Great post! What I particularly like about your blog is that I never know what topic you will write about. Very random & great fun.

  3. She's also the cover story in the latest World of Interiors, as I'm sure you know. They have (only a few) pics of her new setup in the Vicarage at Chatsworth.

  4. Really enjoyed that interview. I hope to be wearing tweed and sensible shoes when I am 90 as well.

  6. I've read several good excerpts from this upcoming autobiography . . . and can't wait to read the whole. I adore that last picture -- with the chickens. Apparently she's been keen on chickens since she was a little girl.

  9. Thanks for the tip! The interview in the Telegraph on 9/12 was also excellent. Somehow I never tire of her. The Telegraph link, should you wish it, is http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/7993844/Elvis-Chatsworth-JFK-and-me.html. Happy reading!

  12. BBC Radio 4's "Women's Hour" had a wonderful, hour-long interview with the Dowager Duchess last week. I think it's still available on the BBC iPlayer website - but hurry, as a lot of their stuff only stays on there for a week afterwards! It's an absolute treasure of a programme and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
